Port Au Prince- South Florida Radio Personality Gerard Latortue has been appointed Prime Minister of Haiti. Haitian President Jean Bertrand Aristide resigned Sunday, February 29 as Rebel Leader Guy Phillipe and Rebel Soldiers threatened publicly to March on the Capital and arrest him.

Croom accepts MSU head coaching job

Sylvester Croom, assistant head coach with the Green Bay Packers, has accepted the head football coaching job for the Mississippi State University Bulldogs. Croom becomes the first and only black coach in the SEC, and joins only a handful of black coaches within the Division I-A coaching ranks.
